What is Lethality in LoL?

For example, imagine you are fighting the character Ornn with 150 armor. If you have 30 “Lethality”, his attacks will deal damage as if he only had 120 armor. Now if you have 30% “Armor Penetration” his attacks will do more damage as if he only had 105 armor.

When we talk about “Tanks” characters (class of characters more resistant to damage) this is an advantage that can make a lot of difference, right? Therefore, many characters of the “Assassin” class use “Lethality” as an essential effect in the “Build” (combination of items). The more “Lethality” you have, the more Physical Damage you can deal.

Where is Lethality in LoL?

You can find it in the “Status” bar — where your character’s damage is. Pressing the “C” key opens a “Status” list where you can find more details about your champion’s growth in the match. In this short list, “Lethality” is an effect that goes along with “Armor Penetration”.
