In response to the review bombing since the video made about it, it is a *book*. Books tend to not be updated live. Information like subscriber count are written in the moment and cannot realistically be expected to always be true going forward; that’s ridiculous. (And technically subscriber count is still accurate; “more than 10 billion” includes 24 billion or whatever number it sits at now, despite the Youtuber’s complaints about it being “wrong”)
You also do not need permission to write biographical works. An “unauthorized” biography is a commonly written article in literature; though libel laws protect individuals from slander.
Does this book contain incorrect information? Yes, quite a bit of it is objectively wrong or is currently incorrect due to having since changed. Hence the lower rating.
Is it likely a cash-grab on a popular internet figure? Also, yes. Hence the lower rating.
Should it NOT exist SIMPLY for being about Markiplier? No. There’s nothing wrong about it, it happens with an uncountable number of other celebrities online and offline.

Out of pure contrarian spite, I’m rating this 5 stars.
There is nothing illegal about writing a book about someone without their permission when there is nothing slanderous or defaming within the material.
They are just misinterpreted and outdated facts (of course current numbers aren’t up to date, it’s a BOOK. Publication date and the date it was written aren’t necessarily the same)
Either way, the book sucks purely on grammar, but I’m leaving my two cents before a lot of young and impressionable people start getting unrealistic ideas about common practices within writing.

This book is filled with filler information that’s completely false. Markiplier himself posted a video stating this book is inaccurate, wrong, false, inappropriate, created without his consent, and filled with personal information about him that not only is incorrect but also is basically making money off of his unfortunate troubles in his life. Markiplier should honestly sue Wolny, the author, for falsifying information and publishing without consent. This is disgusting.
