Charles Moreland, 33, was sentenced to a month in prison and five months home detention in January 2015, after admitting to threatening the life of Democratic Senator Harry Reid, the Senate minority leader.

Now, federal agents say, Moreland has set his sights on 27-year-old Catherine ‘Katie’ Pavlich, a Fox News commentator and the editor of conservative news site Townhall.com.

According to a federal affidavit, obtained by the Smoking Gun, Moreland has harassed Pavlich with more than 250 emails since last May, which has left her ‘in reasonable fear of death or serious bodily injury’.

At the beginning of the one-sided correspondence, a concerned Pavlich told a colleague that, ‘I think this guy…is a serious harm to himself and possibly a legitimate stalker of me.’

Moreland claimed in one email that ‘I am not going to harm anyone,’ but he continued to unsettle Pavlich which his barrage of bizarre messages.

In many of the messages, Moreland appeared to be infatuated with Pavlich, bringing up the question of marriage often.

In one email he asked ‘when are you going to seduce me?’ and in another ‘are [you] going to kill me if I don’t marry you?’

He even kept tabs on her brother’s Instagram account, and took one video on her brother shooting guns at a gun range with friends as a direct threat to his life.

‘I have no interest in harming you or anyone you care about. I honestly do not,’ Moreland wrote to Pavlich about the post in a September 2015 email.

The endless emails stopped for a while in November, when Moreland was arrested for violating his probation after failing to disclose that he had a tablet and laptop with internet access.

He was sentenced to five months in custody on the probation violation charge and was released from prison last month.

Immediately, he started contacting Pavlich again on email and over Twitter, though in one message he promised to stop messaging her for good.

‘I’m not going to bother you or your brother!!! i am leaving the country! sorry…good luck,’ he wrote in an April 6 email.

In addition to the stalking of Pavlich and threats to Reid, federal agents also say that Moreland sent ‘threatening’ emails to the White House, Hillary Clinton and other public officials.

The email to Clinton was forwarded to the Secret Service by her campaign correspondence director.
